Zoology), Dr. Kumar further honed his skills through postgraduate education at Sheffield Hallam University, UK, specializing in Sports Medicine, and earned a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arizona, USA. He is also certified in Orthopedic Medicine from ISOM, Ireland, and has demonstrated unparalleled dedication to advancing rehabilitation science.

His global-impact invention, “System for Monitoring Users’ Posture in Real Time and a Method Thereof,” integrates advanced camera, laser, and radar technologies to benefit seniors and individuals with disabilities. He has also filed a provisional U.S. patent for a “Personalized Predictive Fall Detection and Postural Mapping Device using AI,” underscoring his commitment to leveraging technology for societal benefit.

Currently based in Gainesville, Florida, Dr. Kumar serves as a Clinical Physical Therapist Case Manager and Director of Training and Education. He oversees patient care and staff development while contributing to cutting-edge research in collaboration with scientists worldwide. His extensive clinical experience spans musculoskeletal injuries, sports rehabilitation, geriatrics, pain management, and acute care.
Dr. Kumar is a distinguished advisory board member of the University of Alabama’s Superfund Research Center, part of an NIH-funded program investigating the impact of heavy metals on lung disease in vulnerable populations. He also serves as Chief Advisor and Board Member for 10CAN, USA, focusing on preventing PTSD and suicides among veterans. Additionally, he consults on health, safety, and rehabilitation initiatives in India, playing a pivotal role in establishing rehabilitation centers.
